KI6DS exits American QRP Club
Doug Hendricks, KI6DS, has resigned as president and a member of the Board of Directors of the American QRP Club.
In a letter posted on the Internet Mail Group QRP-L, he wrote: "Several things are happening in my life at this time which do not allow me the time to devote to this job. I am a full time teacher, basketball coach, Grand Knight of our local Knights of Columbus, a husband, father and a grandfather. All of these activities involve a serious commitment of time, and I find that I must make a choice, and have made one."
KI6DS said he'd remain active in the NorCal QRP Club, an organization he co-founded with the late Jim Cates, WA6GER, and Wayne Burdick, N6KR.
