A 'third hand' for SMT construction

A metal coathanger and some 8 oz. fishing weights can combine to form a useful "third hand" when soldering surface mount components into place - such as on the NorCal SMT Dummy Load. Using a metal file to form the end of the coathanger into a point is helpful in holding down even the smallest of SMT parts.
